Impromptu Ride by Dave Beverly
We had a little impromptu ride this morning, (05/27/00), as I promised in the last e-mail sent out. There is a new Indian motorcycle shop called Motorsickle Madness (281 988-7777) located on the access road to Beltway 8 about a mile South of where 290 intersects with Beltway 8. The bikes use S&S 88 CI Harley engines with fender skirts and an interesting teardrop headlight. They really look pretty nice but the kicker is the $24,000 starting price. They have around 20 bikes on the floor and even a demo model. If you missed our ride you need to check them out. Jack Thomas got a brochure to add to his collection and do you realize Jack had a "real" 1953 Indian. He wishes he had it now $$$$.
